Wall Street Journal Names Worldwide Express To Top 25

DHL Letter

(DALLAS) – February 19, 2008 — Worldwide Express officials are proud to announce today that they have been named one of the top 25 franchise companies in the United States by the Wall Street Journal.

The list was compiled by data captured and analyzed from the past three years by FRANdata, an Arlington, Va., independent research firm. According to the company, there are now more than 230 lines of businesses that do franchising.

“We are very honored to receive this national distinction,” said David Kiger, Worldwide Express president and CEO. “While we compete head-to-head with FedEx and UPS, we don’t have to be the biggest to be the best. Our unique relationship with DHL allows us to directly service small- to medium-sized businesses with local attention and worldwide reach.”

The secret to the company’s success has been its strict focus on small- to medium-sized businesses — which is the backbone of the U.S. economy. This focus means this business segment receives the special attention and service often reserved for Fortune 500 companies.

While happy with the honor, Worldwide Express officials aren’t resting on their laurels. The company is planning to add a freight and local courier component to its list of services in the upcoming months to augment its light package sales.
