Where there is professional development, Rewards and Recognition should follow. We recognize our talent often because we understand how important it is to acknowledge superior performance. Motivated, competitive individuals can expect to have their accomplishments recognized in front of their peers throughout the year and in front of the entire organization at our Annual Conference.
Annual Kick-Off
Each year in January, top producers from across the country, selected Senior Account Executives, Key Account Executives, District and Regional Sales Managers attend an invitation only Annual Kick-Off event held in Dallas, TX. This event is considered both a reward and recognition in our environment. The three-day event is comprised of training on national best practices from the Worldwide Express Executive Development Team, and then the attendees are broken out for individual presentations for each district and territory represented. As part of our ongoing business development, each invited individual represents their district or territory and projects annual results to their respective peers. It is a chance to learn and share knowledge across the nation, as well an ideal time for attendees to take an introspective look into of the areas of focus for the year to come.
Mid-Year Review
Each year in June, top producers from across the country including selected Senior Account Executives, Key Account Executives, and District and Regional Sales Managers, once again gather for another invitation only Mid-Year Review event. This Mid-Year Review gives our group the chance to share ideas throughout the nation and provides top producers a chance to account for their productivity in the first six months of the year. This is an exceptional event for networking and idea exchanges, as well as an accountability platform for those who have attended Annual Kick-Off. As with the Kick-Off, each invited individual represents their district or territory to account for their actual year to date production versus their projected and also make necessary adjustments in their forecasts for the remainder of the year. It is a chance to learn and develop among peers across the nation, and is an assurance of a continued focus towards execution and results.
National Sales Competitions
In 2008 Worldwide Express will launch the first Bi-Annual National Sales Contest. These “Six Month Sprint” contests are nationally sponsored by the Worldwide Express corporate office and are extended as an open competition to our entire sales force - Account Executives, Key Account Executives and District Sales Managers alike.
In 2008, over $175,000 in prize money is up for grabs; in which a potential first place sweep in the Account Executive or District Sales Manager category could yield a cash prize total in excess of $35,000!! Not just the top spot takes a prize: In 2008, each Six Month Sprint will have payouts for the Top 5 spots, and the National Overall Contest will payout for all who place in the Top 10.
The “Six Month Sprint” was a concept implemented by the Worldwide Express Management Advisory Council to guarantee an even playing field for the National Sales force. At the beginning of each six months, a clean slate is given provided for all to begin their national run – a fresh start for everyone. For those who have been with the company for years, or who may be just starting in their career, the “Six Month Sprint” National Sales Contest is a chance for big rewards and recognition for a job well done!!
Worldwide Express Annual Conference and Awards Night
Every year when the summer months come to a close, the excitement begins to rise at Worldwide Express as we gear up for our Annual Conference held in Hollywood Florida at the Westin Diplomat Resort. This event truly epitomizes the Worldwide Express culture and is something everyone looks forward to attending. It is a time to reconnect with colleagues, and to celebrate all the hard work that has gone into another great year. The conference is capped off by our Annual Awards Ceremony, a formal dinner that is held to recognize the exceptional performances that have taken place in offices all over the country, throughout the course of the year. Top Producers are given a chance to “get on stage” and celebrate exceptional district and individual performances. It is at this ceremony that we announce the winners of our National Sales Contests. With over $175,000 in cash prize money given away to our top producing Sales Managers, Sales Executives and Key Account Executives, the night is truly something to celebrate.
